And who is the lucky, lucky winner of the Cooking School Confidential contest?

Well, really, the winner is me.

For starters, the number of people that dropped by for a visit was way, way higher than I anticipated. And the number that entered the contest … well, it was easily twice as much as I hoped for, let alone realistically expected.

Matter of fact, the contest went so wildly well that I’m running another contest right after Thanksgiving. Details after the jump.

As for who won the free prize …

So the good news is …
Because so many people entered, I got tons of really great kitchen tips. I’ll share these in posts as soon as I have time to create them! And, even juicier, I got some amazing kitchen disaster stories. There are some that are sad, some that are sweet, and some that had me roaring they were so funny. There is the $30,000 fire, for example, the biscotti and the dental work, the turkey that slipped out of the pan and skidded into the dining room only to land at the feet of what must have been an incredibly startled guest, the … well, let me put them into some posts so you can enjoy them, too.

And the bad news is …
Well, of course, it is that I could not give everyone a prize. I would have liked to have done so, but, yeah, not in this reality. Sigh.
